October 13, 1987 :: Sting released "Nothing Like the Sun"
In 1987 I was a Sophomore in High School. Saved up. Designed and built my perfect stereo system... a thing we did in 1987. When it was all put together in my room - speakers, tuner, multi-disc CD player, EQ all set - I had just enough in the bank left to buy two albums. Barely. I chose "Nothing Like the Sun" and the self-titled first album for Take 6.
Still favorites almost 40 years later.
What was the first CD you ever bought?
