Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute kit.  Honey Amber finish. (No, that’s not orange.  It’s “Honey Amber.”)  A mix of Sabian, Zildjian A Custom and K series, and a couple UFIP cymbals.

This kit was given to me by the worship and arts teams at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN, when I was leaving the ministry there to help plant Living Hope Church up in the NW metro area.  They signed the card, “your first family of Levites.”  I remember those dear friends every time I play it.  It really is my dream kit.  I plan to play it for another few decades at least.
