UPDATE and THANKS for those who have prayed for my friend Cassie and her Missionary friends in the car accident in Belize

Hey Josh!

It's been a week and it feels like forever!  Praise God for giving me the energy and strength to help me get through this week.  The prayers of everyone have been felt in a mighty way!  Thank you for your prayers!  Quick update on what has been going on this week.  2 of the 3 staff who were in the car accident in Belize have been here in Miami until today.  Aaron got here last Saturday night.  He has a fractured C2 vert and a fractured skull.  After tests, he was declared stable so no surgery or halo was necessary--Praise God!  He was released from the hospital on Wednesday and will be in a neck brace for the next 8-12 weeks.  He is still in a lot of pain but is getting better every day.  Aaron is on a flight home with his family.  Laura was brought in on Wednesday.  She has fractured T12, L1, L2 Vert in her back.  She also does NOT need surgery--Praise God!  She will be in a back brace for the next 8-12 weeks as well.  She is in some pain still, so continue to pray or a quick recovery!  She was released from the hospital today and will be flying home tomorrow!  Our 3rd staff member is in Belize--he is Belizian--and has some broken ribs and is in pain--continue to pray for him as well!

All in all, God has been faithful and provided protection for our brothers and sister in Christ.  He has been so good.  No one should have walked away from that crash.  I believe God protected them and is now continuing to heal them.  There's no other way to explain it!

Also, God has given me strength when I thought I had nothing left to give.  Praise Him for being our great God!

Thanks again for your prayers!
Cassie
